Valora Invite Rewards Terms and Conditions

The Invite Rewards Program lets you earn rewards in CELO for inviting your friends!
Here’s how it works:
Start by confirming your phone number. An easy way to do this is to confirm your phone number with the Valora app by following the onboarding steps in the app!
You will need a cUSD balance in your wallet to participate! You can follow these instructions for adding cUSD to a Valora wallet. There is no minimum, but you need to send funds to a new user to be eligible.
Send funds to a phone number using the Send flow from the home screen. You can identify which of your contacts is not on Valora yet because they have a “Earn $1” next to their name
Let your contact know that they have been invited. You can for instance send them a text message directly from the Valora app.
Rewards are credited to your CELO balance within 3 days of your contact joining Valora and confirming their phone number
Make sure to confirm your phone number and have an appropriate balance to receive the rewards. You can confirm your phone number in the Valora app (this is the process when you receive 3 text messages).
You do not need to take further action to claim the rewards, as long as the contact you invite joins Valora and claims the funds you sent them.
The program is expected to run at least until July 1st, 2021 or until funds run out, although reward amounts and program duration may change.
A single address cannot claim more than 20cUSD in a given reward period.
Reward periods start on Mondays, 00:00 UTC and end on Sundays, 23:59:59 UTC.
Rewards will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis (by phone number confirmation date) up to a total limit of 10,000 cUSD per rewards period
Why did my reward not show up?
There are a few possible reasons:
The address with the qualifying balance may not have verified their phone number. An easy way to do this is to confirm your phone number with the Valora app by following the onboarding steps in the app!
Your contact needs to join Valora and confirm their phone number for you to receive the reward. You can for instance let them know by sending them a text message directly from the Valora app after sending them funds.
You may have reached your weekly limit: you receive rewards for the first 20 contacts you invite and who join. This count resets every week.
It can take some time to process the rewards and send them. Rewards will usually be processed within 3 days of the end of the earnings period.
The reward rate and terms are subject to change over time, and are void where prohibited. Rewards are not guaranteed, may be discontinued at any time, and will be allocated on a best efforts basis. Actual results may vary, based on various factors such as leap years, timing of transfers, rounding, fund exhaustion, and variation in reward rates.
